ABOUT US
Kwakha Indvodza (KI) is Eswatini’s (formerly Swaziland) first and only male mentoring organization dedicated to enhancing health, financial independence, and social responsibility among men and boys through community-led interventions. Kwakha Indvodza’s interventions directly advance SDG 3 (health), SDG 5 (gender equality), and SDG 8 (economic empowerment), with a cross-cutting focus on SDG 17 (partnerships).

THE PROBLEM
Many young people in Eswatini face unemployment, which contributes significantly to rising levels of substance abuse, crime, and domestic violence. With a youth unemployment rate of 58%, Eswatini is grappling with one of the highest rates in the region. Eswatini also suffers from a severe skills mismatch, ranking 136 out of 139 countries in terms of how well the skills of its workforce align with market needs (World Bank).

OUR SOLUTION
KI's Social Entrepreneurship and Income Generation (SEIG) programme offers out-of-school, unemployed youth the tools and skills they need to generate an income for themselves and their families.
